We're excited to introduce a powerful concept to our class: the phrase 'not yet.' This friendly and encouraging phrase acknowledges that we have yet to reach a goal or learn something new, but we're making progress. It's a chance to grow and learn together, fostering a positive attitude towards challenges and growth.

When your child faces a difficult task, instead of saying, "I can't do it," we encourage him to say, "Not yet." For example, if your child is learning to tie his shoes and is having difficulty, he can say, "I can't tie my shoes yet, but I'll get there with practice and patience!"

Encouraging children with the phrase “not yet” fosters a growth mindset, where challenges are viewed as learning opportunities and progress is prioritized over perfection. Zed over perfection. Zed over perfection.

As a parent, you play a crucial role in this process. The next time your child is frustrated because something seems complicated, encourage them to use 'not yet.' By celebrating each small step towards success, you're supporting their learning and fostering a positive attitude towards challenges and growth.

Thank you for supporting your child's positive attitude towards learning and growth.
