Contribution to your Learning

and your Learning Community

(5318)

During the Online Learning Design Instruction (EDLD-5318), I was not a passive participant, but rather actively involved in building a collaborative team. I provided helpful feedback to my peers and completed all assignments on time.  Some of my key contributions included exploring preschool phonics language development through a station rotation system. I applied researched teaching strategies to the course material, fully engaging with all readings and videos. Additionally, I was actively involved in the forums and responded to numerous community posts.

One of the successful outcomes of my participation was implementing new strategies for preschool phonics language development. By rotating activities and incorporating technology, I enhanced students' ability to recognize and use language sounds. I also maintained a close-knit study group, offering consistent feedback and support. I regularly reviewed my contributions, reflected on them, and modified them based on suggestions.

Key Contribution:

  • Peer feedback: I provided helpful and constructive feedback to my peers on their projects, which helped me focus on the topic further.

  • Reviewing and reflecting on assignments: I reviewed and reflected on the feedback received, making necessary corrections or updates in the subsequent submission.

  • Readings and resource completion: I completed the course reading, videos, and reading resources, which allowed me to gain more information and support my claims in group discussions in great depth by understanding the nuances.

  • Deadlines: I submitted all my assignments on time to facilitate workflow planning, even if I had to submit them collectively.

  • Supporting contribution by participation: I was active in forums, facilitating discussions and exchanging ideas. I also cited, researched and supported information using the APA citation format.

  • Additional publications: In addition to the required work, I made additional publications to contribute to the required work, I made additional publications to contribute to group learning, describing my experience with adopting a new methodology in phonetic language acquisition.

  • Leading my colleagues towards the goal: Although I was not a formal leader, I participated in all activities and helped others achieve the objectives when they had difficulties.

I am collaborating with Nelyda Rodriguez and Siary Rodriguez Campos on my coursework. Working together has enriched our learning process ny sharing ideas, resources, and strategies. Collaborating with these has allowed me to deliver a better proposal. For example, we discuss and provide feedback on each others ideas. This course has greatly influenced my professional career and changed how I  perceive learning and developing my students skills. I have implemented some things I knew, and the phonetic language innovation proposal is already yielding positive results. This demonstrates the value of my efforts. I believe a score of 90 accurately reflects my commitment and contributions to the entire coursework. Iam satisfied with the score as it indicates thet I hace effectively the knowledge and found an appropriate application. I am committed to continuos learning and improvement to become a better teacher. My growth mindset and active reflection have been instrumental in guiding on this journey.
