Successful interactive apps for preschool phonics include ABCmouse, Starfall, and Reading Eggs. These apps allow students to explore letters, sounds, and words through dynamic, colorful, and multi-sensory activities. For example, they feature interactive games that connect sounds with pictures, helping children develop the ability to identify letters and associate visual writing with phonemes.

These apps provide immediate feedback, reinforcing learning and encouraging students to keep trying. Additionally, many of these tools have tracking features that enable teachers to monitor students' strengths and weaknesses, allowing customized activities tailored to individual needs.

For instance, I used Starfall to teach students about vowels. The students engaged with songs and games, which helped them identify vowels in various contexts. After two weeks of using this app, I noticed a significant improvement in the student's ability to identify auditory and visual vowels.
