Innovation Plan Proposal

by Yunuen Malagón

This proposal focuses on presenting a learning plan to meet the needs of children who live in the Cleveland, Texas, community regarding the development of an initial phonetic language.

As a preschool bilingual teacher, I have seen children in my classroom have a rotation model in the different learning centers. I seek to implement electronic platforms and interactive applications that improve their learning about the development of phonetic language as principal develop their language skills.

Teaching phonetic language in preschool is crucial for initial language development. This proposal integrates the rotation model with a focus on the growth mindset proposed by Carol S. Dweck (2006), providing a blended learning experience that promotes cognitive flexibility and intrinsic motivation in preschool children, especially those with low income and different language needs.

I will create a plan with the rotation model where children will spend between 10 and 15 minutes in each station with different tools provided for the organization since young children tend to have shorter attention spans, and more straightforward activities will maintain their interest and participation.

Integrating blended learning in the classroom and implementing a plan at different station rotations is based on the premise that digital tools can adapt learning to individual needs. Interactive phonics applications and online platforms offer immediate feedback and allow for personalized monitoring of progress (Haugland, 2012). The expected benefits of this proposal are improvement in the acquisition of phonetic language through diversified exposure, development of preschool children's critical thinking and problem-solving skills, intrinsic motivation, and positive attitude towards learning, using interactivity. Of technology to create a meaningful experience, empowering students to become active and receptive learners, and building a solid foundation for future academic success and socio-emotional development.

This proposal will be designed primarily based on the children's needs based on the data collected from the Assessment Practice Area (CLI ) Running record, which allows educators to view and practice student assessments.

I request your permission to develop my proposal in my organization, as it seeks to transform the teaching of phonics language in preschool and foster a lasting enthusiasm for learning by leveraging the accessibility and interactivity of technology to create a meaningful and personalized educational experience.
